World Press Freedom Day Celebrated with Prestigious Ceremony by WJF and PYL in Wah Cantt

Pakistan: To commemorate World Press Freedom Day, the World Journalists Federation (WJF), in collaboration with the Pakistan Youth League (PYL), hosted a distinguished event at the Pakistan Ordnance Factory Hotel (POF Hotel) in Wah Cantt. The ceremony was honored by the presence of Lieutenant General (R) Abdul Qayyum, Sitara-e-Imtiaz, who attended as the chief guest.

On behalf of the federation, WJF Secretary-General Abid Siddique Chaudhry presented honorary shields to PYL Chairman Abid Hussain, Chief Organizer Iffat Rauf, and Director of Allama Iqbal Public School, Irshad Nabi, in recognition of their contributions.

The event was also attended by WJF Senior Joint Secretary Malik Zubair Awan and WJF Secretary Information Wasiq Ali Khan, further emphasizing the importance of press freedom and collaborative efforts in promoting responsible journalism.
