World Journalists Federation (WJF) & NFJ Delegation Visits Indonesian Embassy in Islamabad

Islamabad: A four-member delegation from the World Journalists Federation (WJF) and the National Federation of Journalists (NFJ) visited the Indonesian Embassy in Islamabad and met with His Excellency Rahmat Hindiarta, Chargé d’Affaires.
The meeting aimed to explore opportunities for international collaboration between journalistic organizations in Pakistan and Indonesia.
The delegation included WJF Secretary General Abid Siddique Chaudhry, NFJ Senior Vice President Aamir Rafiq Butt, Joint Secretary Adnan Hameed, and Senior Executive Member Muhammad Nadeem Chaudhry. During the meeting, Aamir Butt provided an overview of NFJ’s functions and introduced each member of the delegation to the Chargé d’Affaires. The discussion focused on strengthening media relations between both countries and enhancing journalistic collaboration on a global scale.
Importance of Media and Economic Cooperation
Rahmat Hindiarta emphasized the need to sign Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) between the media organizations of Pakistan and Indonesia. He stated that such agreements would play a crucial role in strengthening journalistic cooperation.
Conclusion of the Ceremony and Presentation of a Commemorative Shield
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing media collaboration and strengthening bilateral ties. On this occasion, WJF Secretary General Abid Siddique Chaudhry, along with the NFJ delegation, presented a commemorative shield to His Excellency Rahmat Hindiarta on behalf of CNN Urdu and World Ambassador.
